60th Anniversary of Barbie Doll! 🎂🎈
To celebrate Barbie’s 60th Birthday, Barbie gonna have an exhibitions at KLCC on 8th March, 2019 where they’ll show works of 60 students.
To become a part of this exhibition, I designed this party wear based on 2000 – 2010 time period. Crochet underwent a subsequent decline in popularity but, in the early 21st century a revival of interest in handcrafts and DIY has seen, as well as there was a great strides in improvement of the quality and varieties of yarn. That inspired me to add crochet work in my design. Moreover, I got the idea of layered ruffles from the trending styles of early 2000’s like – the layered tank tops and maxi skirt.
